Environmental Evaluation

In order for the treatment plan to be fully effective, it is important to consider the client’s environment where techniques that will be taught during the treatment session will be carried over. The client’s environment includes where they live, where they work, where they perform their hobbies, etc. Therefore, it is adamant to perform a thorough assessment of the client’s environments through a questionnaire or a walk-through if given consent.

Important factors to consider when evaluating an environment are: lighting fixtures, space to position light and reading stands, is the space equipped to be organized, escape and emergency response.
